Free Daily Backups for Extra Security
Website backups are an essential tool for ensuring your website security. A backup helps restore your site in case of a malware attack or data loss. This is why it’s so surprising that many hosts don’t offer automatic backups on their starting plans or only for an extra fee. Not FastComet, though. Even on the cheapest shared hosting plan, FastComet provides 7 free daily backups.
Managed Cloud VPS Plans for Extra Performance
4.8
Though each of FastCloud’s shared hosting plans technically classify as cloud hosting, there’s a lot more emphasis on the shared part. Shared cloud hosting means (as the name implies) that you will be sharing server resources with other users. The cloud-based infrastructure means you’ll have greater downtime protection and built-in redundancies. However, if several other websites on the same shared server sustain prolonged spikes in traffic, it may still impact your site.
As your website grows, you might want a full virtual machine with dedicated resources. Luckily, FastComet offers fully managed virtual private servers (VPSs). Once again, “fully managed” means you won’t have to worry about the technical aspects of server maintenance, so you can get the full benefits of a cloud VPS without having to configure it yourself.
Cheap Starting Prices, With Steep Renewal Fees
4.8
FastComet offers 3 different tiers for its shared hosting plans. The cheapest available option is FastCloud Basic, which costs $2.19 per month for a single website and 15GB of SSD storage space. The next plan up, FastCloud Plus, gives you access to unlimited websites and 25GB of SSD storage. Finally, FastCloud Extra gives you access to 35GB SSD and a 300% performance boost (or so FastComet claims).
If you’re looking for something more advanced, FastComet also offers 4 managed cloud VPS plans and dedicated server hosting. These are competitively priced with a decent range of features.

Whichever plan you choose, pay close attention to its renewal price. While FastComet’s initial prices are lower than the industry standard, the renewal pricing can be as high as five times the original. Even after renewal, FastComet is still a fairly affordable provider, and I’d say it’s worth its price. However, you should know how much you’ll really be paying if you’re planning on sticking with it for a long time.
My Experience with FastComet
We started tracking FastComet (basic plan – FastCloud) in October 2017. Unfortunately, despite being a relative newcomer, the company had no hesitation in canceling a price lock guarantee to their customers lately, resulting in hard feelings and burnt wallets all around. This review is based on data we gathered from our test site hosted at FastComet and public user feedback from the Internet.

FastComet Hosting FAQ's
Is FastComet easy to use?
Yes! FastComet is one of the most beginner-friendly hosting providers I’ve come across. The sign-up process is straightforward, pricing is clear, and it provides an easy-to-use client area to manage your account with cPanel to manage your hosting.
Is shared hosting from FastComet good for e-commerce?
That depends on the scale of the e-commerce site you’re looking to launch. Though shared hosting from FastComet could offer you plenty of benefits, like robust security, daily backups, and an affordable price, I would honestly not recommend any shared hosting for a very busy e-commerce site with a lot of products. The good news, however, is that if you’re looking to host an e-commerce business, FastComet also offers competitively-priced managed cloud VPS solutions.
Is FastComet affordable?
I would classify FastComet as a budget hosting provider. However, you should keep an eye on its renewal prices, which are particularly steep. If you’ve decided to go with a FastComet plan, I recommend signing up for the longest possible renewal period. That way, you get to enjoy the discounted pre-renewal prices for longer.
Can you cancel FastComet and get a refund?
Yes! More than that, FastComet offers a generous money-back guarantee, giving you up to 45 days to test its service. Once you’re ready to cancel your plan and get a refund, all you have to do is contact FastComet’s very helpful customer support team.
Is FastComet good hosting?
FastComet offers excellent 24/7 customer support and reliable hosting. The company has good security, great access speed, and high-quality servers.
Which hosting is cost effective?
HostGator is one of the most affordable hosts on this list, at least when you sign up for the promos. It’s also known for its fast speeds and simple WordPress integrations. Similar to A2 Hosting, the HostGator pricing gets lower per month when you sign up for more months.
Is hostinger fast?
Also, Hostinger uses the LiteSpeed web server, which ranks as one of the fastest web servers. You’ll also get a cache manager for quicker load times and improved speed. We love that Hostinger keeps renewing its systems with the latest LiteSpeed technologies to ensure users get improved speed and quick site loads.

Hard to deal with their customer center – too many upsells and hidden fees. IMO, performance wasn’t satisfactory.

Installing WordPress on FastComet
When it comes to installing WordPress on your FastComet account, the process is incredibly simple since FastComet provides Softaculous and cPanel control panels. Personally, I feel that the easiest way to install WordPress is through Softaculous. For this, I simply went to the installation page in Softaculous and clicked on “Softaculous Apps Installer”.
FastComet Control Panel
FastComet’s own admin panel is quite decent with all the functions aligned neatly on the left. Overall, you can easily navigate through its user interface without feeling lost. You can manage your account, your services and your domains from here, while being able to contact customer support and monitor your resource usage as well. This is what their admin panel looks like: Apart from this, they offer cPanel, WHM and Softaculous control panels with their hosting plans that are all incredibly easy-to-use, mobile friendly and come with numerous helpful tools.
Conclusion: Do We Recommend FastComet?
Yes! After conducting a detailed FastComet expert review, I’d definitely recommend their services to those who wish to host their website on a server located in India, Japan, Singapore or Australia and don’t want to pick a local hosting company from these countries. From my experience, I believe they’re the only good web host offering server locations in India and East Asia at affordable price rates. They also let you pick a server location yourself even if you’re buying their most basic hosting plan.
Plus, I totally loved their support! The team was efficient, gave instant replies, and they did not leave the chat even after my query had been resolved. They also fulfill their claims when it comes to server uptime and speed, I did not experience any delays or downtime throughout my experience. Lastly, they’re offering a 45-days money back guarantee, so it’s a win-win situation overall.
Final verdict
FastComet’s prices can seem high, but that’s mostly because they’re full of high-end features which are normally paid extras elsewhere (and the great results in our speed tests deserve a small price premium, too.) If hosting power is your top priority, give the company a try.
